Frequently asked questions
How much PhilHealth is deducted from my salary?
Only your employee share — half of the total monthly premium — is deducted from your pay. Your employer pays the other half.
What are the income floor and ceiling?
Salaries below the floor use the floor as the premium base, and salaries above the ceiling use the ceiling. Between them, the premium is a straight percentage of your salary.
Is the rate really 5%?
The Universal Health Care Act set a schedule that reached 5%. Rates and the income ceiling can change by advisory, so verify the current figures before relying on the result.
Does this apply to self-employed or voluntary members?
This estimates the employed member premium (split with an employer). Self-employed and voluntary members pay the full premium themselves under separate guidelines.
How is PhilHealth Contribution Calculator Philippines (2024–2025) calculated?

Where does the data come from?
